Civilzation Book Report


Civilization Book Report

 

Pick one book—Fiction or Non-fiction—about one of the civilizations we are studying this year. The civilizations are: Mesopotamia, Babylon, Assyria, Phoenicia, Greece, Israel, Persia, Rome, China, Mid-East, Medieval Europe. **There are some books in the school library which can be used for this report! The book must be cleared with me first and cannot be too easy. Here are some suggestions:

Pick a Book by TH, January 30.

 

You will do a project for the book and present it to the class. Project ideas can include:

1.      Writing a book report which will include a short synopsis of the book and THREE things you learned about your civilization by reading this book. This paper should be typed and 2-3 pages long.

2.      Making a video about a part of the book. You must also write a type-written paragraph discussing one thing you learned about your civilization by reading this book.

3.      Drawing illustrations for your book. You must describe the characters you are illustrating in a short type-written paragraph.

You will present your project to the class.
